Audrey Elizabeth

Just wanted to share some more pictures of our little girl. Yesterday was a bit of a rough day for all of us since none of us got a wink of sleep on Monday night (well, maybe Andrew got an hour of sleep), but today we are all feeling MUCH better. We are enjoying getting to know one another and we fall a little more in love with her every time we see her. After hanging out with her for a while, we’ve decided that the name Audrey seems to fit her best. Thanks for all your votes on the blog!

My parents are in town to help us out with these first few days, and we are SO thankful to have them here!!! Here’s a picture of the proud grandparents:

We called my parents when we first got to the hospital on Monday around 1pm to let them know that Audrey was on the way. They packed the car and got on the road to drive down to Atlanta at 1:30pm and were in our hospital room before 9:30pm. Now, I have driven from Columbus, Ohio to Atlanta, Georgia dozens of times and I don’t think I’ve ever made it in less than 9 hours. My Dad managed to make it in under 8 hours…think someone was excited?
