Well…she’s finally here!!! After only 6 hours of labor and 20 minutes of pushing, our little girl made her debut! We still haven’t picked a name, but you can place your vote in the comments section. Your options are Audrey, Hannah, or Isabella. We may choose to ignore your vote, but feel free to leave one anyway.

Here are the stats: She was born on May 5th (Happy Cinco de Mayo) at 7:35pm. She was 7lb 9ozs and 21 inches long. We are all doing well and about to try to get some rest.

We will probably be here until Wednesday afternoon, and feel free to come visit. We just ask that you call first to make sure that it’s a good time. You can call either of our cell phones.

Here are some pictures from her first hour of life…we both look a little rough, but hey, it was a rough day.

This is Diane (my midwife) who is an ANGEL! She was such a blessing through the entire thing!

Congratulations! I can appreciate a girl who wanted to wait for her birthday to have a theme. Lupita or Rosario might continue in the Cinco de Mayo pattern, but I kind of like the way Hannah Carretto sounds. Can’t wait to meet her.

As I worked last night, I was thinking about y’all and praying for y’all and now she’s HERE! I just want to cry! Congratulations! I wish I could be there to come and visit, but I’m not sure I could make it back in time to go to work at 5, so I’ll just have to be content with pictures. ;o)

Oh, Reilly votes for Audrey, Declan votes for Isabella and I still think you should name her Amelia. But, since that’s not actually on the list, I’ll cast a vote for Audrey. All of them are beautiful names and I can’t wait to find out which one you pick.

I told Lee to vote for a name - he said “Alexis.” Then i told him there were choices He now votes for Hannah.
I think I’m voting for Audrey….though Davis has worked really well for me & my 1st name is Catherine - just in case you had this sudden desire to name your kid after me.
So for the Mitchells - it looks like we have a vote for all 3. We are set for success on this one! I cannot wait to meet her!
