This has become one of Dino’s favorite places to perch.
On a different note…I had a very weird experience last night. Andrew and I went for a walk around our neighborhood and happened to run into a lady who lives a few streets down from us. We’ve said hello before, but don’t really know her..in fact, I don’t even know her name. Anyway, she said hi and asked me how I was feeling and I said I was doing well and we were getting ready for the baby to be here. This is where it gets weird. She then asked me if I was dilated!!! Note to the reader: If you are not a family member or really close friend, don’t ask a pregnant (or not pregnant for that matter) woman about her cervix…it’s weird.
that’s so not cool. after you picked your jaw up off the ground, what did you do? run away as fast as possible?
My first instinct was to ask her some equally inappropriate question and see how see reacted. But Andrew was with me, and since he’s actually a nice and polite person, I decided to just answer her question and then continue our walk. Andrew would have been so embarrassed if I had reacted in any of the ways that first came to mind.

Whaaat? Bummer that Andrew was with you. I would’ve paid good money to see any one of those reactions that first came to your mind
There’s something about pregnancy and candor that seem to go hand in hand for me. It’s probably good that Andrew was there.
hahaha, I love it! I totally remember the thoughts that went through my head when I was pregnant and people asked me stupid questions like that!

And yea, so about your cervix? Oh wait, nevermind. I only want to hear about that when I’m eatting KFC. Vom. Hahah
