The other day I went outside to see what Andrew was doing (he’d been out working in the yard for a while), and this is what I found…
This use to be one tree. Andrew has this obsession with cutting down trees and taking out large shrubs. Granted, this tree was a little close to the house and probably needed to be cut down. However, I keep catching Andrew looking at this tree (that’s in the middle of our yard) with that same crazy look in his eyes:
Is this tree next??? Maybe it’s because I grew up in Texas where shade was more precious than your first born, but something inside of me just hates the idea of chopping down a tree.
I am so sorry if I put the sparkle in Andrew’s eye — we took down a HUGE tree this week too. I had mine professionally done though — hahaha
Just remember how long it takes to grow a tree to replace that one!!!!
Jenn-Not your fault at all. He actually took down the tree last week, and he’s been wanting to take it down for quite some time. Honestly, I’m surprised we still have any trees left at all. I guess he has some willpower.
I would suggest NOT getting him a chainsaw then — he may start redecorating your back yard!!!
That is why our tree came down when Mo was unavailable since Mo thought with a bucket truck and some friends HE could take it down!
